none are TOXIC

Soaps are bases, not acids, although if it's a GREAT amount (I mean cups upon cups) then it can pose a danger

Well, I'm guessing that anything that you rub over your entire body is not toxic. As for putting it in your mouth, I don't think it could kill you, but it could make you a bit sick.

Your friend shouldn't wash a kid's mouth out with soap, though, I'm sure the psychological effects of it will far outweigh the temporary upset stomach

Neutrogena. Most regular bar soaps have lye.

Of course, this is not to say that washing a kid's mouth out with soap isn't child abuse.

Doesn't Ivory soap advertise itself as having nothing added? I don't think it is a good idea to punish a kid like that. She should get more creative. She should try chores or taking away privileges.

Ivory. What did the kid do wrong? I got it when I was a kid for swearing. Taught me a good lesson-plus the bubbles are fun to play with!!
