then Superman must have banged Lois and left right away, and then Lois would have had to have started banging the new guy right away.

But you have a point, Lois would have had to have started sleeping with the new guy right away. It's not unheard of for women to find out their pregnant, need a father for the newly conceived baby and look to someone readily interested in them. It's also possible that Richard knows that Superman is the father, or suspects as such, and is willing to support Lois in her lie because he loves her and her son.

If Superman Returns takes place after Superman 2, then Lois would never remember sleeping with Superman, plus she would have no idea how she got pregnant in the first place, unless she was dating Richard at the time she decided to bone Superman. So she would have no idea that the baby was Supermans. Unless it flew out of her.

I beleive the consensus is right, They never lay out that Richard thinks the kid is his. Also this film takes place between two and three, if you watch two again. Superman and Lois do have sex in that film, or it is at least implied.

For one thing, Lois would have gotten pregnat in Superman 2 after she finds out who superman is, until superman does something to make her forget, but i wouldnt classify her as a slut though, a slut has sex with more then 2 guys

before each and every thing, that's a movie.. from a comic book e book, no a lot less, so a lil little bit of rule-bending the following and there should be anticipated. and that i believe you, Lois become truly shallow.. And as for Superman having a son, perhaps even as he become made right into a human, his genes that were surpassed on to Lois probably did not replace genuinely.. or something like that..

Not really, they never said anything on the movie saying that Richard thought the kid was his.
Maybe he knew that the kids wasn't his.

No one knows who the kids father is. I think that it's left open in the movie.
