common signs of pregnancy are being tired, upset stomach including nausea, you miss your next period or it is off (either to short or to light). But if you think you are just take a home test, they really are pretty accurate (not 100% but not bad). As far as when you can get pregnant it is when you ovulate. Every women does that at a different time. Some are right after their periods some are right before and some are in the middle. If you ever have cramping between your periods this is usually caused by ovulation if you want to know keep track of your temperature it goes up a bit when you ovulate.

How I noticed I was pregnant I had tender breast and I mean very tender. There is Slight spotting or cramping, Darkening areolas, Extreme fatigue, Nausea and vomiting, Frequent urination, Constipation, and Raised basal body temperature. You can get pregnant right after your period is over, but the chances are slim. One common method of finding out the best time to get pregnant is counting days. To do this, figure out when your next period is due. From this date, count back 12 to 16 days. This will give you a range of days when you will probably be ovulating. In normal case, for women with a 28-day cycle, the 14th day is often the best day to get pregnant. To use this method, you must know how long your cycle usually lasts and have relatively regular cycles.

The sex part is sort of irrelavent unless you know the days you ovulate. If you have unprotected sex then regarless of your period there is still a chance. Because most women don't realize they are pregnant until they have a missed period I would have to say unless you take a test after you have missed your period you really wont know since there are several things that could be wrong with your body and you think that it is becuase your pregnant.

The earliest you can find out if you're pg is testing about 2 weeks after ovulation. If you don't know when you ovulated, then check when your last period was. Surely you know about how many days you have in a typical cycle. Home pg tests are very accurate, but you have to make sure you've been pg at least 10 or more days. When you had sex DOES matter...you need to look at your cycle. A woman is ONLY fertile about 12-24 hours of every month, BUT a man's sperm can live inside of you for up to five days if it has fertile cm to live in. GL - I hope you get the answer you're looking for.

TYypically it takes a few days after the period is missed.

If you miss your next period, you can be concerned and get a test, from the store or at planned parenthood, which gives them for free, if you cant pay.

Yes you can get pregnant ANYTIME, including while you are HAVING a period. The reason for this, is because you can ovulate at any time, including when you are menstruating. Ovulation generally happens 10 days after your period starts, for most women, but if you never know when to expect it, it is an irregular period, so that means you might have irregular ovulation, like me.

I got pregnant the day before I (thought) I got my period. It turns out, that I ovulate just before my period, and my ovulation cycle causes bleeding, also.

Go to http://www.plannedparenthood.org for help. They can really help you to make the right decision for you, if you are pregnant.

your best bet would be to take a home pregnancy test or see a doctor. Home test are pretty accurate most of the time, however i tested negative the first two months of my pregnancy and i didn't miss my period they were just a few days late every month. Since there is a possibility that you could be you should find out for sure so you can get the propper care for you and your baby if you are. Try Planned Parenthood they may be able to help you.

You can be pregnant even after you period. It usually takes up 6 weeks until you next cycle if it skips then you have a 50/50 chance of pregnancy unless something else is going on. You will sometimes start getting nauseated during the day your breast will become tender you may be moodier than usual, peeing a lot possibly maybe even hungries and gaining weight .

It is when you are ovulating that you can get pregnant. Lets say your period starts on the 15th of each month, add up the days in between your periods so it should be between 30 and 31 days and divide it by 2. on that day you should be ovulating. take an ovulation test to make sure. you could know as soon as two weeks you are pregnant.
