I have to install a new hard drive and was wondering, how do I make back up files and which ones?

The files you want to backup are those files which you can not replace. Letters, spreadsheets, pictures, etc. are the main ones, but also your email files (if they need to be saved) special downloads of driver packets, or programs which you use a lot. You can move these to a CDRW or even burn them to a CD permanently.
