Use earthy tones with a little metallic shimmer. It will work for both tan skin and pale skin.

I have red hair, green eyes, and right now a tan. One of the best products I have found lately is the Almay for whatever eye color you have. The palette would be perfect for you. Plum shades look great on tan skin against the hair and bronze of course when you are tan is always a winner. Don't be afraid of golds and warm peaches this summer. When tan however, stay away from any pink--even peaches that look pinky. I also use a very dark green mascara (my lashes and brows are light as well) when going out for evening, however a navy would look beautiful against your eyes. Try the Almay for blue eyes--it is cheap yet looks like Chanel blends if you do it correctly. Make sure your blush works for your tan and I also on quick fix days use my blush for eyeshadow too and then brush a shimmering sand color up near the brow. Good luck---Gorgeous redheads have to stick together!

I use Almay, the eye shadows they make for specific eye colors. I am a redhead with hazel eyes, I like using lavender/violet shades on my eyes with a little bit of gold highlight. I use a bright pink blush on my cheeks when I am tan and usually a clear or sheer pink lip gloss. Buy a light brown/blonde eyebrow pencil, my eyebrows bleach out in the sun so I need to color them in, and a black mascara. Just have fun and try different colors!

Pale colors for eyes will bring out both the blue as well as your tan, like neutrals, soft grey, pale shimmery blue or white. Deep brown and grey look great for night. I find a nice lipcolor in a nude or gingery-kinda color always works, like terra-cotta and copper colors. Hope this was what you were looking for.

Go to www.wonderful.myarbonne.com and check out their About Face Makeup line. They have a system to chose the colors for your skin and hair type. The makeups are also pure, safe and beneficial. There are no animal by-products in them and never tested on animals. If you want to know what is in OTC makeups and lotions google "rendering plants" to find out.

You might want to look at Bare Essentials or something like it. These are ground up minerals and they have a full line of make up products. Do you have a cosmetic supply near you? They will help with colors. Places like Ulta?

i love even as pink heads placed on pink lipstick, i imagine that's astonishing. yet, if that is too ambitious for you, downplay the lips with a organic/pink color and artwork on your eyes. Lavender shadow as a lot because the foreheadbone with a deeper pink contained in the crease seems large on redheads -- the pink compliments pink, so by employing wearing those colorations at the same time, it's going to play up your eyes AND your hair. that's win-win. desire that helped.

I am a red head myself. I use bronzers. Try MAC's Refined Golden. I also wear pink lipstick. For eyes, try a neutral shadow that matches the bronzer.

Brown looks good with any hair color. As far as red hair, green looks especially good with it and so does purple.
