Are Jews smarter than everyone else?

Now my boss says that the jewish people are smarter, better educated , and have done more great things than the rest of us he also says that percentage wise they have won more Noble prizes than any other race?

There is book titled the "The Bell Curve" that investigates this idea. The book basically says that yes there are differences among societal groups. In average intelligence test scores, according to the book, Jews do have a slightly above average IQ as a group. Asians however, scored the highest.

Now based on that fact, you could read "Freakonomics" and see how intelligence would relate to education and accomplishments. (I read it a while ago and dont remember all of the facts)

As far as Noble Prizes, of 750 handed out from 1901-2005, 157 were Jewish. I could not find a comparison to other races, But based on the small percentage of Jews in the world, this is still a huge number.

I'm not jewish, but I believe studies show this is actually true. I don't know the reason. However, that doesn't mean all Jews are smarter than non Jews.You would get a range from the not too bright to the super intellegent and everything in between, the same as with any other large group of people.

Here is the CORRECT answer. A person's religion has nothing, repeat, NOTHING to do with their intellegence or ability. The person who told you that was either joking, or someone who dislikes non-Jews. The word "racist" isn't exactly correct as Judaism is a religion and not really a race; there are people of all races who are Jews...and Christians, and Buddhists, etc. In short, religion has nothing to do with intelligence.
