Okay well ever since i can remember theres always been cliques. Especially with my friends. But as we got older I drifted away from them [[ like they wore abercrombie && i wore chucks && band tees && stuff. ]]
So far were still friends, but im afraid i'll lose some of them because of who i am.
But i came up with this idea. If they're my real friends they'll still love me no matter how i dress. So is this a good way to really find out if they are, or not? Please Help!?!

I'm impressed! It's not often that a teenager sees that clearly. You are going in the right direction for you, and you are right--if they are really your friends, they will stay your friends. It is a very healthy outlook. But, you do know that you will lose some of them, and that's OK. That kind of thing ebbs and flows as you go through life. thats beyond ridiculous if they are stopping being your friends for what you wear.
and if you do lose some of them. its not you.
so dont get upset if in a few you end up not speaking...
not seying thats gonna happen of course.
and also. whatever you do do not go into a store and not buy something you like because you are scared your "friends" wont like it. thats crazy. be yourself and if you lose some "friends" along the way. that sucks but its also LIFE.
so if im answering your question.
dont try to figure out if they are ur true friends or not. just be yourself and let things fall into place. dont worry.

Look you,them,everyone on this earth changes....Only friends who make life easier to live...Sometimes we feel unhappy & disappionted with no reason..you think you will lose your friends & they dont love you anymore but you dont know they may think the same thing cause that is life specially when you get older &older....Real friends stand by you whatever you do whatever you wear if you do something worng they try to fix it just for you & if you wear something bad they tell you & try to change you to the best,But that doesnt means that you leave them or never listen to them cause they alwayes be there for you..No one alwayes be there for someone else except friends...
Be nice to them try to deal with them like what you used to do in past when you was happy with them let them feel that & you will gain alot!!!!..Try to find what make them judge you & you will find the answer.
Anything in life go but only Friendship who stays....

i don't like people judging me but you probably don't either how i see it it is like this, everyone has things different that one another the reason they judge you obviously they think there better, than you, but there, not everyone has good qualities in them, that are different that others there are things your better at them them. but I'm not tryin to be judge mental I'm saying they have no right EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST SOMETHING GOOD ABOUT THEM. i don't judge anyone but myself. and if i don't wanna be judged then i don't judge them... oh yeah and if they have a problem with the way you dress and they don't like you for that that is very very ignorant, i mean ppl have different styles, your clothes do not change your personality now to my point... i don't think i would do it to find out , i think i would do it to be who i am and who i wanna be and if they don't like it then there not really good people. sorry to say. :(

every where you go in life there are going to be people judging you or talking about you i always tried to keep people from doing me that way but that wears you out and makes you miserable so this is what Jesus told me-He was the only perfect person and and people still talked about and judged him-so why should i try to stop people from being people. if people are going to talk bad about Him then they are going to talk bad about anybody.

find ways to validate yourself from within yourself and do not seek validation from others. If you succeed, judgement from others will have no effect on you. However, the best way is to find friends who are true - in otherwords, they accept and love you for who you are.
