My eyes are really dark green and most people mistake them for brown. Does anyone know any make-up tricks to bring out the green more?

Almay has "Intense i-color" mixes for each eye color. For green eyes, they recommend a light purply-pink for the lid, a dark green for the crease, and a lightish yellow for above the crease (near your brow, for blending). The purple color is for contrast (they use that for brown eyes, too), and the dark green and yellow are to bring out that specific color. They recommend a deep burgundy eye-liner and green mascara.

Brown eyeshadow. I have hazel eyes that switch between brown and green, but if I use a brown shadow, my eyes look greener next to it. Some colors that I use:

Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadows in Not Just Nudes, line eyes with darkest shade
MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Bountiful Brown
MAC Shadestick in Gentle Lentil
MAC Eyeshadow in Brun

Yes! Go with a gold tone eyeshadow... it will work well with the green to bring them out! Also, try a dark brown eyeliner so there will be more contrast between your eyes and the dark brown. Apply a thin line! =)

use:
all colors of brown eye shadow
light green & dark green eye shadow
plum eye shadow
gold eyeshadow
gold and bronze shimmers really look good on green eyes.
those colors will bring out the green in your eyes.

My eyes are blue and to make them stand out I wear brown and if your eyes are dark then wear a light co lour and vice versa, another wear to define your eyes is also to wear a nice eye liner, clinique do the best ones and draw a smudged line from the outside corner of your eye to the middle of your pupil, the top and bottom lid, this makes your eyes look bigger and can be more subtle by not smudging. Highlighter by MAC is also great for underneath your eyebrows too and the best way to make your eyes stand out is to use eye lash curlers, holding down for 20 seconds on each top lid x

Your eyes will gain intensity and stand out more if you use brown, copper, or gold eye shadow. Brush eyeshadow from the lash line to just above where your lids crease.(Use the bone right above your eyeball as your guide.) For maximum impact, draw along your lover lid with the same shade using the tip of a sponge applicator or a skinny eye shadow brush. and don't forget the mascara!
