That's a pretty broad question but anothersomeonenew's answer is telling of a lot of Americans jumping to conclusions and being too centered on our own language and culture, anothersomenew may have failed to realize that there are other acceptable spellings of words like color vs colour and such in other countries. Canadiens is a commonly used spelling especially in parts of eastern or "french" Canada. I would guess that is where the asker of this question is from.

Well Canadians say "Eh?" and not many US people do. Umm Canada's government stays low unlike US and Canadian people have this Canadian pride thing and give away little maple leaf pins and flags. Americans are patriotic too but not as much. Ice Hockey is big in Canada whereas America is... I don't know. Football? Basketball? Baseball? Soccer? lol There are many French-Canadians in Canada. America has many Mexican-Americans well actually America is a bit of everything. Well... Manhattan is. It's less polluted in Canada, I heard but America has more celeb stuff like Hollywood and more singers and actors. But that's what my friends say so I don't know. They also say that Most of the Canadian citizens are caucasians. But I think it depends on the city. And Canadians don't live in igloos. They are quite similar to Americans.

When someone says they're American, they could have grown up in a desert (Nevada), an icy tundra (Alaska), on the beach, on the prairie, on a mountain, near a lake, in any climate you can think of. If someone says they're Canadian, they grew up in the cold.

canadians don't have as many gun or racial problems (we have our own other problems) and I find that generally canadians are more friendly and open...especially on the west coast. That said I have met some remarkable americans.
