I suggest you ask your friends in the cities where you work. because ppl in different cities may have different entertainment everyday. China is big, like Europ. French have different interest with British. Right?
People who have different education,.age, background, social status, etc have different entertainment.
Try to ask your friends in China. or people around your targeted friend.

The same things than in any other country, go out with friends, go eat, go dancing, party, sports, camping, shopping, go for coffee, etc. just like any body else except that with less excess and abuse than in some "developed" nations. Trust me, I lived there and I am not Chinese. ATheir cities are GIANT and their clubs are cool, communist? not really lately.
