I took one praxis test 3 times and finally figured out I needed something to help me pass. So I bought the pRaxis study guide books that are available on www.ets.org website or any borders bookstore. They really helped out alot. With similar test questions, practice essays(depending on which one your taking), test taking tips, things to study. It was amazing, after getting that book, I actually passed the test!! GOod luck@

Try not to let other people who have taken it scare you. Before I took it, other education majors who'd already taken it would talk about how hard it was. If your professors are teaching you what you need to know to be a teacher, then you won't have any problems with it. It's not as hard as people like to think. It's not easy by any means, but it's not impossible either. Just relax, get a good night's sleep the night before, and pay attention to what you are learning in class and you'll be just fine.

My roommate had that problem. Rumor has it that the computer based test is slightly easier. So if it is within driving distance for you, sign up to take the computer test. 2 points shouldn't be hard. Good luck!
