It is the trill of over educated college junkies, to spread these viruses and dream up new and creative ones. that is where 99% of all viruses are coming from . They do it for fun , to see how much damage they can do and not get caught. And the sad thing is very very few ever get caught . They should make them finically responsible for all the damage that they cause when they catch one , or remove both of there arms . but really nothing has detoured them from thinking up and sending out new ones yet. I think this should be added onto the war on terror. One good way to stop it would be if every server would filter all content before it goes thru there system . this would keep the viruses from attacking ever ones computer. and any server that did not filter would not be allowed to connect to the net. would you be willing to pay a few extra dollars a month to your server to get all clean surfing ? I think 99% of us all would ..

1. Revenge
2. To compromise security in order to gain information and personal details.
3. For the pride of knowing that they outsmarted somebody.
4. For the thrill and rush of it.
5. Some write them simply as a demonstration of holes in software. This is all of the viruses that I made...I made them, tested them on myself and then sent how I did it to the software company so that they can fix it.
6. Some people are just jerks.

Ya know why? Because 1: They get paid to do it. Or 2: They don't have a life. Or 3: It's what they live for. Or 4: They're just plain insane.

They have no lives. To screw up other peoples lives I think. If they have lives their lives must be very pethetic lives to make themselves happy by messing with other people lives and computers.
I had a virus on my computer somehow acouple months ago and had to reinstall everything on my pc and that took forever.
I even had antivirus and anti spyware and all that. Still got one sadly but truely.

few reasons. they maynot know a virus is attached because one scan on the page said there wasn't and it was scan then and they don't open attachment so they dont know. Thiers one going around I got from my brother in navy with pictures of soliers and if you open header attachment by mistake you get a virus that can't be fixed according to norton. My brother didnt know it and passed it on its caled the black patch. I am thankful my computer didnt open it.
Others think its cute. or they are mad at someone. its rude.

They think it's fun/funny to screw up people's computers. It's a prank, people enjoy doing that, except this is a prank times, like 50.
