I absolutely loved it. My team was eliminated early. My "new team" lost in the finals. So be it. The competition and the pageantry is much better than the Olympics.
I can't believe I have to wait 4 more years.

Even though Italy won, I had kind of hoped this last game wouldn't end in controversy like so many of the previous ones did. I honestly didn't care whether Italy or France won, I just wanted to see a great game without the penalty kicks.
My Argentinian team played amazingly and I had hoped they'd go on a lot longer so that kind of took a little wind out of my sails.
I could have done without having to watch the Portuguese team dive and fake their way through to the semis, but that's life. And I would have loved to see more amazing goals. Not my favourite World Cup but at least the team that won wasn't a team I hated.

This is the most boring World Cup I have ever seen! Almost every game ended 0:0 or 1:1 I like this new agressivity, but HELLO, WE ARE WATCHING FOOTBALL IN ORDER TO SEE GOOD GOALS AND AN INTERESTING GAME at least. We only had penalities during this World Cup! Hey, I am not watching thisi World Cup because I want to see David Beckham, or any other "famous" football player! I am watching soccer in order to see a good game!
P.S. Euro Cup RULES!

Yes. I watched most soccer games. Some were better then others and some were surprisingly good others dull. I hope they find an answer to better refereeing. One man can not oversee everything. I do not know if two referees would work, maybe instant replay or monitoring by camera and then informimng the referee of any infractions. I leave it up to the professionals but I liked the games and that was the question.

Though some games weren't up to the standard of this event. But it remains the 'World Cup' u know, it's the gathering of civilizations. It occurs every 4 years, so it was a great chance to celebrate regarding the level of teams.

How can you not enjoy ANY World Cup? It is the best event in sports history. The positive highlights greatly outweigh negative disappointments. I watched or recorded every match and enjoyed watching them all even though it was a bit frustrating at times (especially watching the U.S. team). I can't wait until 2010!

My favorite team got kicked out before getiing to Germany. I didn't have any sympathies, and I found some games to be interesting for all the wrong reasons.
Because of the refs.

I found it 2 b a very sour ending 2 Zidane's flawless career. I was really disappointed that he let that Italian player get under his skin. He is usually so calm. It must have been a very bad comment 2 incite this type of behavior from Zidane.

This World Cup was great. Brazil and Argentina definately should have gone on farther, but Italia was still a good team.
