He is a very smart young man. Nice looking very repectable toward the ladies, he don't really care about making friends with other males to play ball or something with, he wants a girl friend and says the girls dont like him. I try so hard to bring up his self esteem, his father has not been around for him, can anyone give me advice on how to handle this

If your son is pretty smart, maybe you could pick one or two of his hobbies, or school subjects he is interested in, and maybe help him join a club or group that is also into that subject (you know, like chess club, or computer club, or bicycling, etc). Then maybe he will meet some girls who also like that stuff, or at least maybe he can meet friends who know girls who like it. Good Luck.

at 14 he is just goin thru it, you know hormones and what not

you can't push him, he is in a tuff place right now

he will snap out of it

you know that most young females now days are expecting every young man they date to be like what they see in videos and we both know that is not reality at all

he will find a girl within the next year then you will be asking questions like does my son spend too much time with his girlfriend...

don't worry momma he is a good boy and he is not out there tryin to hustle and fighting be happy about that

puberty = emotional craziness

PS Please teach him about safe sex and AIDS again and again
