Trying to get over someone you just broke up with is hard even when you have been with that person for a long time. It takes time to get over something so wonderful. Doesnt mean you have too. You loved her just write her a letter saying.

" The months I spend with you were the best days. Just seeing you smile and hearing your laugh was the greatest things in life. Knowing that its time to let you go. You have made a big impact on me. That I would like to say thank you for everything you have done. That you will always be a special part of my heart. love you with all of it. Just because its over. I still love you and still care about you. I will always be here for you and I will always be your friend when those choices to leave you."

Just send her a little. It will help you get your feelings out and let her know how special she was in your life. It will make you think. Its not really a closer of the door but an opean of the window of friendship.

keep urself very busy get another job, go out with friends, etc. What ever u do dont sit home and think about it. Here is another thing that might help this is what i did. Sit down and write down all the bad things that happen in the relationship b/c when u start to get lonely u dont think about those things u seem to forget them all and remember only the good and forget the reason that it all went wrong. It will be hard but just keep ur head high and keep busy.

Time. I know this sounds bad but sometimes finding a replacement...even if she is just a friend...someone to talk to, helps. A companion is the cure for anything. Dont take that leap too quickly though. Remember, you are lonely. Don't let people take advantage of that. Best of luck to you!

It sucks, but you have to grow out of it. Time is the only thing that will help you and it's the only thing that you can't control.
And, by all means, don't go sleeping around with other women to get over her...that'll just make you look shallow and disrespectful.
