i want to buy an apple mac book in america can i use the charger in south africa?

when i come back from there or is it possible to get another charger here in SA and it wont harm the computer...i know stupid but its alot of money...so i just want to make sure...

Yes, but you will need a Step Down Transformer & a set of plugs.
So. Africa is on 220volts, where as we in the US use only 110v.
U will need Plugs C & D
