I've only played 3 weeks and won twice lost once.
Week 12 Won 6-1

Thanks in advance

I would try to trade Wickman as I believe he will be traded before the deadline or he will be bumped from closer role. If he is traded I don't believe he will be the number one guy unless he goes to the Tigers or Braves. I agree with everyone else you gotta drop Freel. He will average 3 games played per week with everyone healthy. I don't like your catchers at all. I had Willingham early when he was on fire but he has cooled coniderably. Check the Angels catcher; Napoli I believe he has been on fire as of late. Also watch Reds situation, if Larue is traded Ross will take over full time duties and he has been a stud in extremely limited time. I would keep Posednik. By doing so later in the week you can plug him into lineup if you are losing or tied in SB's. If you have these secured then you just play Kearns to finish out week to add to power numbers.
You could lock down K's and W's every week by doing my philosophy. What I do is that I have a rotating SP slot. I would drop Varitek and pick up a new starter each day of the week, that is an additional 7 starts per week. No team will be able to beat you in these categories. The drawback: you really need to do some research because as we all know there are not many good pitchers on FA. This has potential to raise your ERA and WHIP but with your starters I think you can afford to do this and still finish the week with a 3.5-4.10 ERA and 1.15-.125 WHIP which will put you in position to win week in and week out.
When Sheets comes off DL I would drop Mora or Cain. I would lean towards Mora because you already have enough pop on your offense. And Cain has the potential to be an above fantasy pitcher in the second half.
Your team should make playoffs (top 4) provided you don't have any major injuries. Good luck.

Drop freel and pick up a regular 2nd baseman. he doesn't play a lot and with Encarnacion coming back his playing time will dry up even more. You can get a regular scrub second baseman that is worth more than him. Honestly, I would drop Cain and see if another stud is available such as a John Lester or such, and maybe try to sell Burnett high to someone in the trade market. he is Mr. Injury and I don't think he'll be on a roster for too long. Never has been before. That is just my opinion. Hope it helps.

The Yankees performed the Royals The Royals beat the Yankees by employing a score of one million-0, the worst variety of loss achievable. *swears loudly* 2 The pitching became large, regardless of the indisputable fact that the offense became fairly poor. superstar: AJ Burnett for the Yankees, Bullington for the Royals Crap: i will't %. one participant. likely the total Yankee offense BQ: I went to my first Yankee recreation ever this three hundred and sixty 5 days at objective field. (i do not stay close to ny and that i'm no longer wealthy, so that's complicated to get to a Yankee recreation those days) The Yankees received 2 video games. the game in the previous became suspended after 5 innings, so I were given to be sure the accurate of that recreation, plus the unique recreation.

Not a big fan of Freel by any standard. He could be useful for trade bait. Try and trade him straight up for another 2B.

Closer wise, i say you trade away podsednik and varitek. Podsednik is basically only good for SBs, as your team can surely score enough runs. Varitek has just been struggling all year, and i think he hurts your team more than he helps.

This way, Kearns would be your UTIL.

get rid of some of your bench players (Varitek especially) and get more pitchers, and sub them in every day.
