Why is it that you park in the driveway but drive in the Parkway:?

yea idk that and y do noses run and feet smell? and y doesnt glue stick 2 the inside of a bottle? these thing humans may never know....

You park in a driveway if you are in the United States.
You drive on a parkway if you are in the United Kingdom.

However, you can drive into a driveway, and I'm sure you can park on a parkway if you had to!

To add to the confusion, also note that parkway could refer to a place you drive through, like the Blue Ridge Parkway, or the Valley Forge National Park. It could be a "drive" way that goes through a park!

For the same reason that Appartments are close together, We put cargo on a ship, and ship things by car.

Don't forget nothing sticks to Teflon, but they got it to stick to the pan.

English is easy to learn, or so I hear, but takes forever to really figure out.
