I actually like Detroit's chances this year for the first time in a long time. Rod Marinelli could be exactly the piece they need that they were missing the last several years: discipline. They have plenty of talent and are a very young football team. I think Mike Martz is going to be a key in turning the offense around. Will it be done this year? Probably not. But they could be on the upswing. That being said, I think it will fall like this -

1. Chicago - Until someone can prove that Chicago's defense can be shaken, I don't see them not winning the division.
2. Detroit - probably looking at a 10-8 season with continued growth on the horizon
3. Minnesota - they need to have a couple seasons to fill some key slots on defense and quarterback.
4. Green Bay - serious rebuild is needed. I'm the world's biggest Packers fan and an even bigger Brett Favre fan, but coming back didn't help this team get any closer to the future. They need too many pieces that his salary could have helped provide.

Bears are blessed with a very good defense and the easiest schedule in the league - they'll win the division at 11-5.

Packers have upgraded their defense (Woodson, AJ Hawk, Pickett, Manual) and resigned some key folks (notably Kampman). Their offense had serious problems due to injuries last year but still have a great QB in Brett Favre. If they can't stay healthy, the Packers will make the playoffs at 9-7.

Viqueens have a lot of work to do and a ton of former college coaches. They'll start strong (as usual) and choke down the stretch - finishing 7-9.

Detroit needs to dump their owner - until then they'll be in detoilet. 4-12

Well, I say it's going to be a battle between the bears and detroit for first, vikings will take 3rd, but the packers just aren't going to compete. With that said, here's my guesstimation.

1. Bears 11 - 5
2. Lions 10 - 6
3. Vikings 8 - 8
4. Packers 5 - 11

Bears will probably be the only team to make the playoffs, but since i'm a huge lions fan, i hope they suck really bad this year haha.

The Bears will battle with the Vikings for first place. The Packers will finished third and count on the Lions to finish last.

Chicago, Minnesota, Detroit, GreenBay. Chicago makes the playoffs in this division and nobody else.
