Should I just wait till next May for part 3 and then I can see them back to back???

No, I would go ahead and go see the second part now. There is so much more to Pirates 2 than the cliffhanger at the end, the fact that there is a cliffhanger ending doesn't affect the story that the movie tells. You'll love the cannibals, meeting Will's father, and the morph of Elizabeth's character from lady to pirate. Go see it, I guarantee a good time.

I love the ending just for the character involved. I kind of saw it coming but it was still a great ending. The last 15 minutes of the movie really make the film.

i think of they shoulda have been given the middle and freed Will's Dad, then set off off for section 3. in any different case very good. I JUMPED!!! while the guy popped out of the jungle while Will discovered the string and canteen.

I thought the entire movie was pretty bad. No storylines were wrapped up, it was basically just a "teaser" for the 3rd movie. I was pretty disappointed, and would recommend seeing them back to back, that way you can just sail into the third one and enjoy it more.

i absolutly HATED the ending of pirates 2. i would still reccomend it though - an old character comes back at the very end who died in the previous film which makes no sense whatsoever but it's still really cool! =)

It is very entertaining. The movie stands on it's own. You do feel kind of pissed because you just want the mayhem to go on and on. I've already seen it twice. Can't wait for the video.

I loved that second movie...it was good...but the end did ruin a lot of it...i hate movies that do the TO BE CONTINUED...its annoying. The first one was way better, but yet....Johnny Depp is always worth looking at!!!!!!!! hehe.

I think that you should see it so you don't have to wait for the suspence, I would go see it and not wait that long.
