Though I live in California, there is a ranch in Montana that makes me so happy when I'm there. It's on the banks of the Yellowstone River and has forests, meadows and pasture. The horses have a barn, grazing land and a running creek. Many wild animals call it home. I've seen bear, wolf, deer, wild turkeys, pheasants, coyotes, a bob cat, moose and lots of bunnies, chipmunks and wild birds. The sunsets are spectacular and the summer lightning storms are wild and wonderful. I love my visits there and look forward to the day when I can be there more permanently.
