I do not think so. My son has one and he can speak some spanish and do signing on top of english. It just may take a bit longer than expected, but if you don't give up, he wont either.

learning two languages at once can increase a toddlers learning ability..... if the child is graspoing both languages let that be your guide....

no it is not toddlers can learn faster and grasp eaisly ...even though they dnt understand eaisly
