If not...go somewhere completely different i.e. get coffee, go to the bathroom, or keep air freshner around you. I also am a fan of blaming a dog...although there are most likely not gonna be pups at ur office. Unless you are a vetranarian or however you spell that.

Wave your hand so that the movement makes air and sends the smell to another part of the room. Or you could open a window on a windy day.

The quickest way to eliminate the bad smell is with a shock...

First, dont move right away because the smell will follow you. Stand still for a second and then flee the scene!

Pass the gas and move on unless someone is right behind you and heard that then if someone is comeing towards you just make a funny face like you walked thought that smoke screen...

start a conversation or keep talking like normal and then you sniff and make a weird face and make put the blame on someone else

get a bag and "scoop up the area in the bag, then throw it out...it actually works pretty well
