You can go without iTunes. I thought I needed it too. But then one of my friends told me how to take songs from my cd's and put them on my iPod, and I started to do more research on downloadable sites, I found some pretty nice ones too. I hope you do some research.

well no u dont need 2 use itunes to use ur ipod but i dont think there will be any songs on it unless they give u songs just to start out with

Why wouldn't you want to use it, when it comes with your ipod. Or did you steal someone elses?
