Actually, sometimes, no.. Because when people "give" they expect to receive something in return.. which isn't always the case. So then that person that gave something, that didn't receive anything is crushed and feel that her actions of, hopefully, kindness have gone unnoticed. Then if this happens repeatedly, he/she will eventually stop giving. And that wouldn't be too good now would it. And when you receive stuff, it (maybe this is jsut me) puts a good feeling inside of you. Someone cared enough about you to give you something.. Isn't it a great feeling! So all in all, in the end... NO it's not better to give then to receive. =D

From all the years I have lived so far I have found that it is not. It is much better to receive than to give when it comes to women's relationships with men. Men dont know how to handle receiving. The always take it for granted. I think they are only happy if they have to work at it and constantly be the one giving.

Are we talking about sex here? If so, the answer is that it is equally as satisfying. As far as anything else is concerned, it is always better to give than to receive!

when you give.. are you not recieving a sense of satisfaction?

i dont believe anyone can give without having any benifit to themselves. Some people give to charity to clear their minds and to seem like they care.

Humans are selfish and everything we do are for selfish reasons...

I would much rather give flowers to a girl than receive them from a girl. I would much rather receive basketball tickets from a friend than to give them to my friend.

It all depends on what is being given.

I prefer both to receive and give, best if at the same time.

Yes, it feels GREAT! The more you give, the more you WANT to give,.. like when you make someone's day-----it can even be by telling someone how great they look, or giving someone a smile.

MY ANSWER IS 'YES!"

It depends in what way you are talking about, either way the answer is yes, because i like to please my boyfriend and it's the same for him and in any other way you will always get something back in return
