The toothpaste will dry up a pimple overnight. But to prevent acne, products with benzoyl peroxide and that other ingredient which I can't remember are better because when you put it on your skin, it keeps working for a while to prevent new ones from popping up. Popping pimples will make them take longer to heal, so only pop the ones that have big, ugly white heads and look nasty. And then, put an oil free lotion on your face after applying the benzoyl peroxide, or your skin will get really dry, which could actually cause pimples. But I think the toothpaste works because my daughter tried it, and her pimples did dry up over night.

It doesn't get RID of acne. Toothpaste only dries out a pimple. Don't use toothpaste as an acne treatment.

No, sorry I tried it many times and it did nothing. One of my cousins said it works, but he still has acne. I use to have acne really bad, but now it's almost gone. Everything you name I used. Every antiboitic, and cream. I used accutane, proactive, murad, I could go on and on. I guess that's why my face cleared up, because I used all these products. Oh and drink plenty of water, because it helps. All I have now is acne scars and they won't go away not without laser surgery, but no toothpaste doesn't work. You should visit a dermatologist, so they can examine your skin and give you something that will work. Goodluck and I hope you find something that works for you.

No don't use toothpaste, it does more harm than good. Ur supposed 2 leave it on overnight but when u wake up, the zit/s will be really red & irritated, & they'll hurt & it will leave scarring. Just keep gently washing them & maybe try leaving some oil free spot treatment on them.

It doesn't get rid of acne, but it dries it up, quicker, after you get it. Just use it overnight and the pimple dries up, so it won't be fresh and ugly there so long

yes, I have used it several times. But only regular, white Colgate works. And don't use too much!!! I had a couple horrible pimples before I got married, and used in night after night for about 3 nights.....it burned my face!! I was left with dark red blotches!! So, use it sparingly.

It has ingredients that will help to dry a pimple. It's good as a backup remedy, benzoyl peroxide is better.
