I work with 18 months to 2 year olds so for them bring chalk for the sidewalks, coloring stuff, as well as things that make noise.

For all ages up to 7 bring books with characters that they know on them. Like spiderman and pooh bear.

Play-dough is good, but play with it in the kitchen or outside. Not where there is carpet. Water colors are good, maybe the Crayola magic ones. check with the parents before bringing things that are messy.

Movies and music are great because you can dance and sing. If you need some down time pop in the movie.

Defiantly a ball soccer or a big bouncy ball. Water balloons if it is hot outside, you can all play in the hose.

When babysitting little ones you don't want to give them toys that are small than their fists because they can choke.

Our kids love dolls. Dolls are great toys for kids of all ages. Kids learn pretend play and develop social skills while playing with dolls.

You may love the 18 inch new doll line by Harmony Club Dolls. Harmony Club Dolls 18 inch dolls are superior quality, like American Girl Dolls, and are offered at a reasonable price. Visit the shopping website www.harmonyclubdolls.com

I have two girls ages 5 and 2, and they love their stuffed animals, but will play with almost anything. I think Thomas the Tank Engine is a pretty good choice because it boys and girls like those toys. Older kids might like trying to design a new track set up, while younger ones would like pushing the trains around.

anything with colour sound and noise. make sure the toys are safe and have some educational component to it to keep their attention. their are plenty of toys out there that teach without the child knowing they are learning. for instance lego helps with their fine motor skills and has bright colours. a doll can really tell you what is going on in a child mind when they are playing mommy etc...

Other little kids. They like coloring, play doh, your attention, movies, video games, your attention, remote control cars (expensive), your attention, play what they have and just pay attention to them-that's the best.
