No, it seems unsanitary to me for people to be eating in a grocery store.

AAAAaaaahahhhhhhhhhh...Sundays at Harris-Teeter. Reminds me of a Simpsons episode where they went to "Eatie Gourmets" after church and Homer ate all the free samples.
I usually start off with a little fruit. Then head for the cheeses, there are usually a couple different kinds, I fit about 4 pieces on each toothpick. Then I head for the bread and spread display where I get a couple of tastes each. Now, on to the ham. I can pack about 7 or 8 pieces of that ham on one toothpick. I'll hit the ham twice. Lastly comes dessert. There' s always something different in the dessert tray. Yesterday was cookies, and last week was apple pie.
So, in other words, yes, I do eat the free samples.

I used to when I was a kid, but I don't like to eat in public, and don't like to eat anything I think may have someone elses germs but it's not like it's rude or bad to eat the samples! That's what they're there for! Just don't hog them, cause that's so rude when you go back for more! If you like it that much people, buy it and then make it at home! That's what they want you to do! That's why they have the samples for you! DUH!

Sure I do, but going back more than once is just being plain greedy. Sams is the place to go. They have many samples all the time.

ya i eat samples at the grocery store. and yes i have gone back more than once on occassion. lol. sometimes the food is rly good and its free so im there, lol.

I love samples at the grocery store. But not if they are unattended, like the cheese cubes.

Only if it's something that I like and if the person is wearing gloves and I see them fix whatever it is they're giving samples of. No, it isn't polite to go back for more. Just buy whatever it is, and enjoy more at home.

Man I could eat a whole meal of just samples from Costco and if it's good you know damn right I go back

Only if the person stares me down and looks like they will be sad if I don't eat their stinking sample. Otherwise I just walk by, and no I don't go back.

Yes! Costco has the best samples. Too embarrassed to go back for seconds.
