Mediterranean villa for large group?

Question

We are a group of 14+ adults looking for a villa/house (with a pool) on the beach in Spain, Portugal or Greece. We are planning a week long vacation for next summer.

Anyone have any good recommendations?

Well that's a broad question that you ask(I am Owner of a Travel Agency; as such I deal with these dilemnas regularly). Having said that, there are some things to ponder:

1-Is sightseeing part of the Travel agenda?
2-Do you have a specific Summer month in mind?(It makes a difference in regards to availability, weather, and costs are concerned)
3-Departure city/cities(if applicable)?

Also keep in mind that since you are looking for a villa/house and cost is probably a consideration, then I'd suggest either Portugal or Spain. The chances of you finding a house/villa in those 2 locales are greater than Greece. Try checking Craigslist.com at athens.craigslist.com. They usually list villas for rent. I found a short-term apartment there last semester.

You can also try contacting travel agents. I like Dolphin Hellas and Fantasy Travel. I found them on a Greek website called Athensguide.com or http://www.greecetravel.com/villas/

I can recommend you only the place where to stay, and that is Mallorca, if you prefer sandy beaches and amazing sea, or Ibiza, if you prefer night life, of course. But you'll have to chose a villa by yourselves. Wherever you decide to go, have a nice trip! :-)
