After the mysterious brutal death of an old friend, a group of teenagers find themselves in possession of 'Stay Alive,' a next generation horror survival videogame based on the spine-chilling true story of a 17th century noblewoman known as The Blood Countess. The gamers don't know anything about the game other than they're not supposed to have it and they're dying to play it. Not able to resist temptation, the group begins to play the grisly game and soon a chilling connection is made –- they are each being murdered one-by-one in the same method as the character they played in the game. Both of them are old movies.
The first is "Macabre" ... an old black & white film. A child has been kidnapped in a small town and the authorities think she's been buried alive. There is only *one* scary moment in the movie ... but the build-up makes it so intense you will scream when the moment arrives.
"Carrie" was a Stephen King movie a few years ago. There were plenty of "fireworks" during the film to keep anyone on the edge. Stick around and watch the credits at the end of the film ... and you'll be shocked to within an inch of your life! (I had read a review of the film and knew *something* was going to happen - but it didn't help! I jumped three feet!!)

The original "Halloween." No gimmicks, no special effects, just plain suspense and a haunting soundtrack. Must watch on Halloween night with the lights off inside and outside.

'The Prince of Darkness' from many years ago. It would probably seem stupid now with all the special effects we have now. But it was really scarey at the time. Scarey and gory do not mean the same thing to me. I like scarey - don't care for gory at all.
