1. Seattle Seahawks: They're by far the most complete team in the division. A balanced offense with MVP Shaun Alexander and a great passing game. An already good defense is dramatically improved with the addition of LB Julian Peterson. The only question is whether their offensive line will be as good with the loss of Hutchinson. But they're still the best team in the division and barring injury they should win the division handily.

2. Arizona Cardinals: Whether it's Kurt Warner or Matt Leinart leading the way the Cardinals have too many offensive options to no succeed. Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, and Edgerrin James make a trifecta that could be as good as anyone in the league. There are some holes though: the offensive line play and the pass defense for starters. They'll be competitive with their offense but probably no better that an 8-8 team.

3. St. Louis Rams: A perrenially good offensive team and poor defensive one. Nothing changes this year. Bruce and Holt will catch passes all year long (even though Bruce is getting pretty old and Curtis might be a better option) Steven Jackson will bounce back with a huge season possibly. But their defense can't stop the run, pass rush, or force turnovers. The Rams are in for a long season. Look for a lot of 30 point games and 40 for the other team.

4. San Fransisco 49ers: They're still not any good. But they're getting better. TE Vernon Davis was one of the best draft picks this year and gives Alex Smith an instant go-to-guy. There's no way Smith can be as bad as last year so look for the entire offense to improve as he continues to mature. One of the worst defenses in the league lost their best defensive player which doesn't bode well. They're definitely an improved team... but don't expect more that 4 or 5 wins.

Seattle Seahawks win the division with ease. They are just too strong and added even more talent with Julian Peterson. Alexander wins the rushing title and potentially the MVP.

Arizona finishes second behind a very good offence. Their defence however, has too many holes that will need to be addressed next off season.

St. Louis finishes third as they will have to learn a complete new offensive system. The defence has too many holes for them to be competitive.

San Fran continues to rebuild and let go of most of their key players last off season. This is a young group that will struggle and start to play decently by the end of the year. They have too many gaps all across the board and will take several years before they can compete.

The Seahawks will. The Rams, Cardinals, and 49ers have a loooooong way to go challenge them. I'm not a Seahawk fan, just telling it like it is.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THE NINERS WILL, BUT THAT'S JUST WISHFUL THINKING, SEAHAWKS HAVE THE BEST CHANCE, BUT ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN...
