It's impossible to say. Different bands mean different things to different people, it's all opinion and perspective. The greatest musical band ever could be the first group of cavemen that banged on a primitive drum and grunted loudly because they were the first ones that made music. You could say that one of the most influential bands was the Beatles, but who are you to say they're better than anyone else's favorite band? Personally I like most of Pink Floyd's work, if that's what your question is asking.
