if you in the northeast, how is the coverage? if you live anywhere else, same Q?

Check out the coverage map someone posted. It's pretty good that the company will tell you upfront if their coverage is good or not.

I have T-Mobile and really haven't had a problem with coverage. I used it on vacation in ny and had at minimum 3 bars the entire time i was there.

T-Mobile has some of the best coverage in the Denver Metro Area. I am not sure about the North East. Look at a coverage map, if they cover your area, chances are it will be one of the best service providers in that area.

I've had good coverage everywhere on west coast from SD to Seattle. Also in Missouri and Illinois, anywhere in all those states. NE -- don't know.

it's fine in metro areas, but look at their map for coverage. I live in a suburb of Wash DC and at my house it's fine, but if I go 2 miles to my friends house, the coverage is non-existent.... ouch!

No, but I used to. And T-Moble is great. Here in Wisconsin and coverage was pretty good.
