DKlyde...LOL...you're hilarious!!!
I'd still hope to be black, because being anything else is a down-grade... sure I have other ethnic backgrounds, what African American doesn't...but I don't feel the need to publicize it!!! It's like a African American person saying "I'm 1/4 Cherokee," what other African American isn't? If you were born in the U.S. and your parents weren't 100% African, then you have different ethnic groups of blood flowing through your veins...including caucasian, so get real!!
Black is Beautiful... remember that!

Have you tried picking up aluminum cans along the roads? Set your own hours and if you run out of cans go buy a six pack of beer and recycle those cans too. You would still be the same person but you would become Mr. Business Man!

There is nothing wrong with publicizing, or telling other people about your mixed heratage, you should be proud of who u are no matter what, I am just as proud of my french, native american, spanish, caribbean, heritage as my african heritage and they ALL play a major part in who i am and our family traditions! So get real and accept the full scope of your heritage!

This may sound shallow but I would love to spend the day as an indian woman. (from India...not a native american) I think they are the most beautiful women in the world. (I am a short, pudgy girl who is so white that I glow in the dark!)

I'd still want to be an African-American with my cherokee background! I love my heritage it represents strength and courage! We are the ancestors of Abraham, kings and queens, and this country was built by our contributions!!!! I love my people! My skin in Bronze, My hair is thick and dark brown, my eyes are almond shaped, my cheek bones are high, and I have the thickness of an African Princess!!! Yeah, I'll stay me! Begin to love and respect yourself! No-one truly loves you if they kick you when youre down! Stay encouraged look into who you are and love you for the greatness in you!!!!

I'd wake up Japanese. I love the culture and the food.
... as far as being pragmatic, I think I'd wake up Canadian or in any Scandinavian Country so I could have access to their excellent health and education systems.
