i honestly hate and can't tolerate listening to heavy metal punk rock that involves lots of shouting and yelling........

For me most forms of Rock. I don't like Punk, most New Wave, Death Metal. I am a big Metal, Grunge/Alt, Folk, Classic, Art, Gothic, to name several of the Rock genres I'm really into.
I also enjoy Celtic influenced music and some classic Celtic. I like some Blues, New age, Classical (especially classical guitar), English Folk,
Not fond of but I won't leave a room just because it's playing.
Most Jazz, Punk and Soul
Cannot stand
Rap, Hip Hop, Polka, Tejano, Country. The last 3 are really the same. To make a CW song Polka sing it in German and add an accordian. To make a Polka song Tejano make the lyrics sad and sing it in Spanish, you might have to slow it down a little also. To make a Tejano song into a Country tune sing it in English and lose the Accordian or replace it with a fiddle.
To make a Country song into Rap cut %75 of the lyrics out. Take what lyrics remain and base them on Ghetto speak. Make everything rhyme whether or not the ryhmes actually make sense. Lose all the instraments and replace it with a record being moved back and forth almost randomly. Add in a thump thump thump thing. After the thumps everybody will be deaf and unable to hear what else you do with anything except the lyrics which are instead of being sung are spoken with a pre-defined monotone cadance.
To make a polka song into a rap song. Send the tuba into a digital bass amp. Shoot the accordian player but make sure the gunshot gets on the recording. If your short on ammo I'd be glad to loan you some. You don't have to change the lyrics as the German accent will make it all sound wierd anyway. Just make sure it rhymes. Then speak the lyrics (best done while very drunk) in a monotone cadance.

If you ask me I would listen to almost anything most of the time. The music I listen to is rap, hip hop. r&b, allittle bit of old skool some pop. And I guess everthing else fine. But the music that me and my friends can't stand the most is COUNTRY we all hate it. But like said everything else is cool.

One that I can tolerate...prolly Punk/Emo. Just love it. One that I can't..I'd have to agree with you and say Heavy Metal and Rap/Hip Hop.

Classic Rock, Jazz, Blues. Don't like rap. Country is kind of whiny, but some lyrics are good.

my favorite to listen to is ska. its so happy!
for what i cant tolerate, its either the same as what you said or most rap. there are very few rap songs i can take
