The NFC as a whole is probably going to be the weak sister again this time around, and the East has a few good teams. The Cowboys should be fighting with the Redskins for first place, and they have a shot at the wildcard if they don't take the division.
I don't think they can go far in the playoffs, but they can make it there.

As much as I hate to admit it, the Cowboys have a good shot to wind up in the Super Bowl. If Drew Bledsoe can connect with T.O., improve thier running game, and Jerry Jones stays off the sidelines, they might make it there and fall victim to an AFC team. That team will be the Pittsburgh Steelers

Because they were a good team last year, that addressed all it's needs via draft or free agency. Biggest weaknesses last year were O-line and kicking game. Took care of both, and on top of it, got more depth at linebacker, and signed a huge weapon in T.O. , even if he keeps his mouth shut for one season, it will be a great season. That's why.

The hype is because they now have TO.
But, honestly, I see Parcells having the same problems with TO that Andy Reid did. So, I don't think there's a playoff spot for them.
