I'm a fan of both and they are totally different types of music. Although I'll have to say I like the Chili Peppers a little bit more, they are louder and more up beat.

Big fan of each. Seen both live...and Coldplay had an amazing stage show, but RHCP is just so much better in every way shape and form. Heh
