I would say that Argentina were probably the most entertaining.
Italy started slowly but grew into it, as did France.
Spain didn't really get far enough although looked impressive in the group stages.
Brazil were disappointing.
England were terrible and Portugal didn't set the world alight despite getting to the Semi's.
The Germans were consistently good all the way through and therefor have to get my vote.

You can’t just go and say: “Italy won it, they are the best”
When you’ll think about it for some time there were many good teams and they played quite superb and entertaining, we all saw the football from Germany, France, Portugal, England… and each one of them deserved the title, but Italy??? They had no game, they all defended themselves from the thunderous attacks of Zidane, Henry, Ballack…
So mate I won’t tell you who was the best, but I’ll tell you the worst - Italy
