No. They've already proven that they are panty-waists and not good citizens, so why would be want them back? If you can't handle other people having their say, we don't need you in a democratic country.

This country is made up of so many different people and there culture. The only reason this country is what it is, is because of all different people who came here in search of a better life. SO yes anyone should always be welcome here in this great country we live in.
Now if a person who was born in a different country and never became a citizen of USA and they were out of the country for over six month at a time then, that person needs to do what they can to come back to the States legally once again, get a green card and such.

Who are "we"? You and me? I don't think the individual really has that kind of power. If by "we" you mean the United States, then you can go ahead and do research on emigration and immigration laws. There is no "should" involved here. It's either the law or it isn't. Our opinion doesn't matter unless we are voting on a bill--at which point our opinion absolutely does matter and can hold some water, because at that point something will be decided and implemented one way or the other.
To answer your question in a different way: If someone chooses to leave the country, that is their choice, and their reason for doing so is really none of our business. If they choose to come back and they are legally permitted, that is the business of the United States government.

Absolutely, unless they renounced their citizenship formally. Patriotism does not mean blind, idiot obedience or jingoism. Just becuase someone chooses to travel during the tenure of a politician he does not support is no reason to assume that he has given up his citizenship.
Treason is another matter, and would be grounds for revoking citizenship, but simply taking an extended vacation is not treason.

It's not really an issue - if they retain American citizenship, we have to let them return. If they gave it up, they're now a foreign national and would have to apply on the same basis as everyone else.
Not that they shouldn't catch hell in other ways, but that's a different question.

If the person (people) who left did not give up their citizenship in the US, there's no way to stop them from coming back. They might even be able to re-enter if they did change their citizenship status. (In that case, I would hope they would check out what kind of Democrat got into office before coming back).

No, because they were to stupid to realize that all of the US's pitiful presidents were, are, and will continue to be controlled by the industrial elitist giants, so throw darts at photo targets of the subhumans that control Ford's, Chrysler, and GM... Dow, OPEC, Weapons of mass destruction Co's, Hollywood, and the pharmaceutical Co's...the list goes on and on...

All peaceful people should be allowed to cross all borders without question. If they are not a threat to the US, they should be allowed to come and go as they please.
Having a different opinion of the administration and leaving does not make one a threat.

Trick question. If they are American then who's going to be able to stop them. How could you NOT let them back in? Are you going to the airport and stand guard waiting for them, then when they get here you'll say "whoa there buddy, you ain't coming back in. Go back to France".
You can't prove they left for that reason so, thanks for the 2 points.

If they're still Americans, I think they probably have a right to come back. It has to do with that whole freedom thing, if I'm not mistaken.
