No, they're marsupials, not bears. They give birth to their young inside a small pouch like all marsupials (i.e. koalas, kangaroos, wallabys, and even oppossums, the only marsupial native to the U.S.).

The panda is a seperate species. It is not a cross between any other animals.
Only a male panda and a female panda can reproduce, and have panda cubs.

Pandas are not marsupials either. They are mammals.
The scientific name for the Giant Panda is
Ailuropoda melanoleuca ("black-and-white cat-foot") and it is a mammal classified in the bear family.

They are a type of bear. Scientists argued over whether Pandas were a type of bear. Recently, it has been found that genetically they are a type of bear.

Polar bears and black bears cannot mate with each other and have young.

No, if a black bear and a polar bear bread it would either look like a black bear with the clear fur or have the features of a polar bear and have the darker fur. Pandas don't look like either. Pandas are not marsupials. The also live in China, not Japan.
They are a part of the bear family, but you are talking about three different species of bears.
