The real question is , if your serious about her, and you want to propose to her. Then make it memorable.
I recommend the 7 days of L&L.
Plan out a scavenger hunt. ( A pretty card on her bed/fridge tells her its a scavenger hunt have her go to the libary pick a on some some subject she likes... has a card tells her to go to a hotel ) arrage with the desk clerk to give her a key and let her go in to find hot tub waiting for her / vidoes / pictures of the two of you together. come to her later that night and make love.
day 2. Take her out to see friends and family.
day 3. Do something you've both been meaning to do... something adventurous.
day 4. Stay at home and you cook a meal for her.
day 5. tell her your thinking bout marriage, but that you won't propse for ahwile yet
day 6. normal day.
day 7. Propose to her by sunset on some high place. ( hill mountain)

Women like romance! But they also like originality. What does she like to do? Maybe she likes to go to the zoo. Then you could buy a stuffed animal, put the ring in it's paw and when you hand it to her say those four magic words, "Would you marry me?" You could stroll along the beach and as the sun is coming up say something like, "Isn't it wonderful how the sunrise is a promise of a new day, just like this ring is my promise to love you forever?" There are many ways you can propose, but I wouldn't do it funny or in a way that sounds like you are doing her favor. This is a moment that you will both want to remember for a long time, so give it a lot of thought... Good luck!

The best way is while doing something that you both or she enjoys. Also, a very public proposal helps! It takes guts to do that and it is something she will remember always, that is if she is an extrovert. If she is an introvert, a quiet and special way works really well. Cant give a hard answer as you need to use your imagination, just follow these ideas todo something special.

I have been proposed to 2 and honestly neither time was romanitc... but If your in love that dosent really matter, but just to give your girl something to remember for the rest of her life make it interesting. Like a dinner at home... rose petals on the floor on the table by candelight. Or take her out to dinner to a really nice restaurant and have them present it with the desert(have to call ahead of time for that) Or go to like the lake or somewhere very nice and just do it. I think all would be romantic and a surprise. Good Luck!!

If she is a good old fashioned romance kind of girl then you can't beat a down on one knee kind of proposal. She is gonn remember this moment for the rest of her life so make it good.
I'd take her to a place that is a bit private (I don't know about anyone else, but I would like to be asked in private) not that I think she should be given the chance to say no, but it is a fairly intimate moment and she may want to say things to you (or do things) that she may not want otehr people to see. lol

Women, not only want the proposal, but we want the fanfare that follow. Go to her job, favorite bar, or family function, a place where the majority of her friends and family are and propose with flowers and a singer. And, of course the biggest rock you can find.

Do you have a place that is special to both of you exclusively? restaurant, first date place, something like that...take her there and ask her..she will be delighted that you remembered the special spot and even more extatic when you propose..I always thought a big billboard on my way to work would be kinda cool

you should stay with the romantic thing. A proposal is something she'lll remember forever. Have two dozen roses delivered to her on her job asking to the dinner. Calll to confirm the arrangements. Take her to nice dinner make it romantic, and dinner take her on a carriage ride and then you propose to her.

My fiance proposed to me in my class on campus at college in front of all my classmates and teacher. It made me feel very special what ever you do make a big deal out of it. Doesnt have to be anything fancy. But to know my man was on one knee in front of 50 complete strangers crying asking me to marry him I could not of asked for anything any better.
Good Luck

i think you should take her to place that not many people go to at night like a park and spend the day picking a perfect spot and putting lights like white christmas lights everywhere and play some nice music from the Oldies stations and when you turn her around you get down on your knee, you will difinitly surprise her.
