AC/DC is cooler.
One- Their still around even if they aren't touring now but just look at all the hits they had over 4 decades. If they toured now, they would be by far the biggest concert draw today.
Pretty amazing for how old they are now.
Two- Nirvana was great but with Curt Kobain's tragic departure. They are done.

No question about it AC/DC!!! They have influenced many many musicians. They are pure rock and roll all the way through to the soul. Nirvana may have been talented and started a movement but were no way equal to AC/DC.

Too hard to pick. I love them both. I think AC/DC has some great lyrics (my fave is "shes got the jack"), but Nirvana was more influential, being the originators of grunge and all.
They both OOZE cool, if you ask me ;)

NIRVANA, no question, as far as my personal view.
but AC/DC is still classic, but Nirvana is just on another level as far as being historical and classic.

It depends on what you like. When I read the question my first reaction was Nirvana, because to this day my head-banging is automatic every time I hear the opening to "Smells Like Teen Spirit".
