Better than average, but not great.
A lot of what's said about him isn't true. For example, people like to say he's stupid but he went to an ivy league university and tested higher than John Kerry.

We must respect and support the election of a new leader, so the Bible tells us. But, as much as I have tried to pray and support the decisions of our President, his actions and perspective have rubbed me the wrong way. I cannot give any president much credit if they turn a surplus economy into a huge deficit, while millions of homeless, hungry, poor and displaced Katrina victims cry for help. Channeling this much energy and funding into a war when we are literally starving at home is not an honorable quality. I have to admit that I am very disappointed with Geoge Bush.

George Bush is probably going to go down in American History as one of the top 5 most prominent/important Presidents of this country. He has been very ineffective as a policymaker when it comes to social welfare and education funding. He has yet to establish or even come close to the welfare plan that Bill Clinton began and his war with Iraq has yet to produce any real benefits for the country. Although I am a firm believer on 9/11 being a government conspiracy as a gateway to attack the Islamic oil-producing countries of the Middle East (watch "Loose Change 2nd edition" on Google Video), George Bush is in no shape way or form stupid, dumb or unintelligent. He has managed to do some good things in making lucrative economic alliances with India and China. George Bush as also strengthened the American military's war contracts with private companies (the result of war and killing millions of Iraqi civillians), and during his presidency he has made a significant breakthrough in govt. funding for science projects such as Ethanol in petroleum refinement. Overall, he was a terrible policymaker, but keep in mind that George Bush did not receive a degree in Law, Foreign Policy, or anything of that nature, he has an MBA and is predominantly a cunning businessman, and that much is obvious.
Good: Alliances with China and India, Ethanol petroleum, Military.
Bad: Pointless War, Wasted Billions of Dollars, Completely counterproductive Tax scheme, Near Racist policies (border patrolling, Patriot Act), Education plan was a complete failure.

After watching PBS's Frontline 'The Jesus Factor' which was about Bush's path to faith and religion, I have completely concluded that he is the antichrist.
You can watch it online btw at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/jesus/view/
Bush was not even 'saved' before he was hired by his father in 1988. His job was to find a way to win the evangelical vote. He came back and stated that a person could win the whitehouse if they new how to manipulate and control that vote.
This is what the antichrist is predicted as doing. He will come to Earth under the falsepretense of faith/christianity and become a world leader. Many christians will believe he is their savour. Only the ones who refuse to follow him but keep their true faith in GOD will prevail in the end but they will also be condemned before the return of Jesus who will save them.

About the son of a president? Not qualified even a little bit for any serious job. If he would be a toy in hands of a reasonable team, he’d provide good material for comedians and that’s that. But now all this is rather sad and scary, not funny.

I didn't vote for him, and wouldn't today, but he is the right man for the job during this era. I can respect him for standing behind what he feels even when what he feels is crazy sometimes. He had to clean up the foreign policy issues of the last president and the next will have to clean up his economic mess. But ever president is effective in some areas and ineffective in others.

He is brave, and not afraid to do what is right. Bush is doing better than any democrat can do. Everytime I think of Gore, I shrudder.
As for the person who said he is stupid, Bush graduated from Yale, and no idiot can do that. He also got better grades than John Kerry did at the same college.

I am British and I loathe the man and his family with a passion. He has no regard for the safety of citizens of the US, he is also extremely incompetent and the mind boggles how he got into the position he is today. He is also a very dangerous man and could get you guys into heap loads of serious trouble with the rest of the world. In one sense I pity you guys and understand why my Texan hubby was so eager to leave the US and come to my country.

I don't think that he is a bad human being. I think that he is trying to do his best. Unfortunately, I completely disagree with him and I think that his advisers have a lot of self-interest so they don't give him the best advice for everyone, just for themselves. I also think that Bush is incredibly prideful. He refuses to admit that he is ever wrong. That is his greatest fault, in my opinion.
