As long as they're not walled in. I also think there are child-friendly restaurants and those in which a child should not be brought to.

Yes! This is the most interesting idea that I ever heard!!!! Usually, I get stuck next to a family with loud disruptive children. this makes for a very unromantic or unbusinesslike lunch meeting. You really can't hold a conversation, let alone eat a meal peacefully with some screaming child annoying your table. I am not suggesting to kill the baby! I am suggesting to treat the kids to a kids friendly place where they have a play land, video games or entertainment. That will give the adults (actual paying customers) some enjoyment out of their dining dollars.

anything other than a 'fast food" restaurant should
have a section just for children, nobody wants to
pay good money to be interrupted by some loud and
messy child and listen to parents that can't control
their children
i'd rather be in a room full of smokers instead of a room
with wild children!

yes as i would enjoy my meal. some may find child free sections discriminatory, but maybe they should discipline thier children better in addition to teaching them manners.

i dont' have a problem with children in restaurants when they aren't unruly and whiny however, gone are the days when children are seen and NOT heard. too many parents haven't taught their children that their deplorable manners at home are not acceptable in public. too many parents think ignoring the unwanted behavior is a form of discipline. how stupid are they?

Yes, Or if the child is loud and out of control. they should be ask to leave. Every one pays to eat and should not have to put up with loud kid,s that's why we have McDonald's. So you can eat and let your kids run wild. I never took my Boy's out to eat. I didn't want to put my self in that position. Kids are after all Small And easily bored. And you should know better than to expect set and be still and quiet that long.

Yes, there are adult only living complexs and I don't see a problem with child free sections for those of us who want to eat in peace and quiet.

You read my mind....yes! I have children (now teens) and I never took them out to adult places when they were younger. And if we were somewhere and they acted up we left. There is nothing I hate more than spending money for a nice evening out only to have it ruined by someones crying, screaming, whining, running brat. And the idiot parents just let them behave that way???? If they were my kids I would spank their butts! Just my two cents.

ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY!

At least until they pass laws requiring parents to control their brats!

I was down the shore at a restaurant getting a late breakfast. The server came over and asked if she could get us anything else. I said "Yes, a sock to stuff in that screaming kid's mouth" - the server didn't know what to do. But everyone who heard me laughed.

Yes! Bc people with BAD children have not learned not to bring their children with them, I don't think I should have to listen to their screaming, watch them run around, feel them kick my chair, tip toe around the food they throw, and pretty much turn a nice dinner into Chucky Cheese
