Ravi is right, go to Karol Bagh, which is centrally located for rest of the city with plentiful economic accommodation. Added advantages of the area to you is that you would get ample eat outs in south and north Indian cuisine there. Area is well connected by Road and Metro, and other facilities 24x7.

If you are looking for decent lodges and hotels and fair price place to look out will be karol bagh..
if looking for 3 star comfort there are some good places in cp area.. and for 5 star hit dhaula kuan taj and maurya are side by side.
