I mean Brazil,England,Portugal,Germany.......all of them lost......
it wasnt that exciting....like the previoous one.......so many fights.....so many yellow and red cards....(netherlands vs Portugal.....16 yellow and 4 red!!!).....Italy and France......both didnt deserve to enter the finals.....honestly!!!

How do you figure Italy, the best defensive team in the cup (1 goal allowed before finals: own goal) didn't deserve to be there? And France, who took out Brazil and Portugal? I mean come on did you watch the cup? Yes there were a lot of cards/fights/bad calls, but that happens in any sport where the referees sometimes think they are bigger than the game. Many incredible goals and more exciting games, this was a good world cup.

I thought the first round was plagued with bad officiating and the level of play didn't always seem as good as the last 2 or 3. But I think there were 3 pretty evenly matched best teams at the top of the pack, and they all wound up in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Brazil, England and Portugal lost because they were beaten by better teams. Period.

It's not all about the red\yellow cards...
Brazil was really dissapointing.
For me it was the best WC ever,because nobody knew that Italy and France will get there!It was great,and Italy deserved to win!!

Just because certain teams lost doesn't make the world cup bad. Also soccer is not hockey, fights aren't supposed to happen. The best soccer would be one of spectacular plays on both defense and offense. In my opinion France didn't deserve to be in the cup but Italy definatly earned it.

Well it depends.. I mean if your team were eliminated early in the rounds thats too bad.. I guess it was a great sport event this year and German were great in hosting them too.. Its a football match, what do you expect? Yellow cards and red's are common in lieu with the sport officials decisions.. Overall I think the two teams who played in the finals deserved that. Seriously..

it wasnt good for me coz england didnt win but apart from that it was just as exciting as the rest, i love the world cup me, i would never say anything negative about it, its a shame england didnt win but still i loved every minute of it, you say both didnt deserve to get to the finals, but they were the only teams who didnt get knocked out, surely that alone makes them worthy? i'd have thought so anyway.
england for euro 08, come on england keep the dream alive people

it was alright but there was no piont in watching it because england went out too early. i put money on france tough but they didn't win either so yeh it was boring and a bit piontless. i WILL be watching it in 4years (the next one). and i will put money on someone else again. i do hope the next world cup is better than this years.
