Although I agree that Ronaldo is a very talented player, I don't think he was robbed, I think he still needs some work on the team aspect of play. Also, I don't think you can discount what Podolski did for his team. The Germany games that I saw always included good team skills from Podolski. I'm hoping that by next world cup Cristiano adds the element of fair team play, because he is an exciting player to watch.

C. ronaldo won the second place, podolski won the first!!
I think that he won the second cause he needs to play with the team, he don't share the ball. I like cristiano ronaldo ( its too hot) and good player, but he has to improve in that little thing.

cristiano ronaldo is the best soccer player in the world. the rest of the world wished..... that he belonged to them., and he was robbed of the trophy because A.. he is portuguese and anyone can see in his face how proud he is of that fact. B. the tounament was being held in germany, fifa had to give the german people something to cheer about, and since fifa couldn't provide the germans with the world cup, although they did try!!!!!!!!! They provided him with this trophy... what a joke for the world cup and fifa. We all know the underhanded swindlers that they are.

Because he certainly wasn't the best young player. He has great skills with out the brains to use them to his team's advantage. I hope he learns before 2010.

Because sportsmanship counts just as equally as skill. He lets his lust for victory corrupt his ethics of fair play.
With all the drama he brought to the field, I thought he was vying for an oscar, not the world cup!

for me he was awesome
but football is a team game and he was in know way being linked in the team..
how many assists did he do???
he is a winger not a forward he has to feed ball to pauletta.. not to go for glory adn try soloing all opposition
showboating thats wat he wanted to do..
i accept with all respects he has awesome skills and amazing pace..
but the kid is show boating too much he jus needs to grow up..
iam sure next world cup will be his time to stand and stare.he is not the best yet..
