I would want them to teach their children about connectedness. Interdependancy as a way of living makes us all responsible for our actions. I think we need to know how we affect one another. Few would profit by a neighbours misfortune if we knew the family, the faces, hopes dreams and struggles of that neighbour. But we are disconnected from our neighbours globally who suffer by the hands of our corporate creed. We are even disconnected from our food and suffering the effects in our health, biodiversity and water sources. I would teach them about gratitude, beauty and kindness, because all of these things leave us feeling stronger, healthier, more motivated, energized and powerful. i would teach them about possibility thinking. Here is the realm in which abundance and sustainablity can coexist.
