What I think of the DaVinci Code:

It was an interesting movie. Kind of long, but a good storyline. I never read the book but apparently it was better, which is usually the case.

The theory? Very creative. True? No. I think people are getting bent out of shape about this....its just a story. But even if it WERE true, why would it change anything? The basis of religion isn't that some guy had a baby...its the values that it instills in people and the lessons it provides for them, right? So what would it matter anyway??

There are true facts, there is fantasy. The story is writen good, author has got tallent . Everybody can find something in this book. What concerns catholic churh ( I myself am a pagan ) this book is the gratest comercial to catholic church since the times of Holy Crusades ... Never the less why should it be so unbelievable that Jesus had a wife, had children and lived a normal life ... The bible tells about Jesuses birth and then only from the moment he was 30 .. 30 years ... 30 years ladies and gentlemen is a great period of time, why should we think that Jesus lived a normal life too, at least I think that It would of been great if he would have ... but who knows

Why not, I am under no illusion that a guy who was adored by so many people never ever gave in to temptation ind slept with one of the women. If you look at the Roman society at the time then it is almost immpossible to concieve that someone whould remain celibate.
And just because he slept with one woman then what does that change about his entire life? Having seen the film (I haven't read the book) then he slept with someone near the end of his life, which means he did all this fantastic stuff (if we are to believe the Christian bible) before. I can't believe that the meaning of this will change due to his actions after the event.

The Da Vinci Code may be a story but I'm sure that much of what is covered in the book is true.

Followers of the Islam religion believe that Jesus was just a prophet, nothing more, a normal man doing Gods work, rather than the Son of God himself.

The Davinci code is a fictional book. There is nothing true about it.

Davinci book was a good read. But a lot of it is fiction, it's just that he's such a good story teller, he can make it believable. For example, the Priority of Sion was not real. Check out prority-of-sion.com.

I think it is a fictional work written by someone with a pretty wild imagination and no biblical knowledge

we are the adopted children...the blood line ran down the cross for all of us

sinners are those who disobey God's laws and do not ask for forgiveness

Well, the whole book and movie is about de-coding the Da Vinci code. You can only come to like it if you know the history of the Curch. I think it has some truth in it.

The book has been debunked by many experts in all fields. The book was based on documents that were supposed authentic, but the a person came out stating that they planted the fake documents in order to have them found.

So, if you want to belive something that is based on fake documents and poorly founded logic, then go ahead.

Well first of all we need to understand that it is FICTION, something that most people overlook when they start to really read the book. I think it is a really good read (for most of us thinking people...not for the catholics out there). I feel that this book makes people question where the stand with Christianity and it is hated by so many people because it makes them question there own religion. READ THIS BOOK!
