Trust me, when you do get it, you wont want it anymore. But girls get them at all different ages and 12 is actually an early age to get it at. So just be patient and like someone said, enjoy the freedom while you have it.

I guarantee you that you are not the only girl in your school who hasn't gotten it yet. Twelve is smack in the middle of the "prefectly normal" range. I didn't get mine until I was 14. It's a sign that you're growing up, but it doesn't make you a woman and there's nothing wrong with not having it yet. If it takes another year, that's another year of not having to worry about cramps and leaks. Don't be upset about it; it'll happen soon and when it does, you'll wonder why you wanted it so badly!

you're a late developer... not something incorrect with that. i did not start up mine till the full of year 10 - beginning of year 11. and believe me you're so fortunate. you'd be moaning once you've lol. that is truly demanding. you've up till 18 to start up your classes. even as i become in year 9, we had a woman are available and she or he stated that in case you have not began them by using the time you're 18, then you definitely might want to work out a wellbeing care professional... otherwise there is not any favor to fret! believe me, some people start up late at like 16+ and some start up truly early from ridiculous a lengthy time period like 9+... believe me, that is not something to fret about. you receives them quickly. quit aggravating because, the extra you pressure the extra you'll stay away from them from coming each and each and every time quickly. be affected individual and do not rush your body to enhance up. you're nonetheless youthful and characteristic many years earlier than you yet. you're success you have not began them yet. trustworthy :) good success, quit aggravating; that is completely general. i am hoping i helped :) X

You shouldn't tell them. I know I wouldn't tell my friends. I mean, what kind of conversation is this:
"Hi, guys, guess what?"
"What?"
"I just got my period, and I have to like change my pad/tampon every four hours."
"That's so amazing. I don't have my period yet."
"Well, keep waiting."

I know there's nothing to be embarassed about, but that's just a subject I wouldn't want to talk about with my friends. I don't really like talking about it with my sister.

I understand completely. I also was the last one of my friends to get my period. I was small and kind of athletic, so I didn't start my period until I was 15. But believe me, once you start your period, you will wish you hadn't. It isn't fun...

Menstruation is triggered by the increase of female hormones during puberty. Good nutrition is important. If you exercise heavily, or crash diet, this could delay onset.

be happy that you dont have it yet...it gets really annoying after a while...if your friends find out and make fun of you for it just rub it in their face that at least you just dont have to put up w all the hassle of it...the cramping, the bloding, and the worry of bleeding through...which even if your friends did find out i dont think they would make fun of you so just dont worry about it...nature will take its place...if not sooner then later
